Content creator says she was banned for 'looking like she was created by AI': 'As if I weren't real'

30 Oct, 2026

Creator of adult content since 2021, São Paulo native Flávia Barone, 25 years old, born in Ourinhos, in the interior of São Paulo, where she currently lives, claims to have already had profiles and content removed after being the target of recurring complaints that questioned the veracity of her image.According to her, the episodes were not linked to explicit violations of the platforms' rules, but to users' perception that their appearance did not appear human, in a scenario increasingly marked by the use of filters, artificial intelligence and unrealistic aesthetic standards on social networks.

Flávia reports that this type of question arose right at the beginning of her career as an adult content creator, started out of financial need.

"Since I started creating content, this became something constant. I was frequently reported, as if my image couldn't be real. At various times, my photos and videos were flagged simply because people didn't believe that it really existed. At first, I didn't understand what was happening, because I was just working", she says.

According to the influencer, removals and blocking were always linked to user behavior and the way their image was interpreted within the platforms.

"There was never a clear technical explanation saying exactly what the problem was. What was evident was the reaction of people, who reported it because they thought my appearance didn't fit what they considered possible. It wasn't something proven, it was a collective perception that I looked 'too perfect' to be real," he says.

A nutrition student, a course she started after starting to produce adult content, Flávia says that, over time, she began to deal with the situation in a more practical and even ironic way, transforming distrust into part of her routine.

"There have been situations where I needed to record a video without makeup, without a filter, live, turning my face, showing my body from different angles, just to prove that I wasn't artificial intelligence. Today I think it's funny, because it has almost become a standard procedure. Sometimes, to continue working, I need to prove that I exist", he concludes.
